- Guided Visits
-
- Working Nativity Scene
-
Since 2008 we have made the working nativity scene. It was an iniciative by the Board of Directors to enhance the integration of those with severe epilepsy. The representation takes place in the Hall of the City Council in Caniles. Its great appeal is that the visitor is immersed in a multitude of sensations, scenes with characters, real animals, antique utensils and decorations which have been donated to the Association, the smell of plants from the area, typical Christmas music, etc.
After the performance the audience can taste chocolate and cakes which are typical in the village.
The exhibition is open to the public for around 10 days.
- Carnival
-
The magic of the carnival acknowledges the fantasies which surround the world of epilepsy. Behind each fancy dress there is a hidden mystery.
Apemsi tries to transform illusions into smiles.
- Floats
-
Whilst making the floats we are able to rewind to the magical and imaginary world of children, being inspired by stories, cartoons...and with illusion and imagination convert the characters into real works of art.Combining creativity, beauty, movement, colour, sound and light we are able to take the magic of the parade to the streets of Caniles transforming the parade into mystery and smiles for the audience.
- Events
-
Apemsi holds many events: sports, musical, theatrical, magical, etc. Each participating group of people give of their time freely, contributing their part to ensure that the resources are there to implement programmes and services that improve the quality of life of those affected by epilepsy and their families.
Each event has its own characteristics and all are synonomous with enjoyment thanks to the wide variety of performances.
- Book Day
-
During book day Apemsi carries out activities in its classrooms and participates and collaborates in those which are happening in education centres. The objective is to develop creativity, instill values and promote reading habits. - The May Cross
-
The May Cross is a tradition which is firmly rooted in Caniles, where Apemsi has its main headquarters. From our offices we collaborate to promote our culture and traditions.
We decorate a cross, which is located at the office with natural or artificial flowers and traditional objects.
The music, the colour and the festive atmosphere makes it somewhere to be visited by many citizens.
