Apemsi is a charitable association founded to defend the rights of all who are affected by Epilepsy and their families.

Epileptic seizures can be a sign of a variety of problems and the causes are diverse: cerebral tumour, malformation, meningitis, brain trauma due to a head injury, excessive intake of alcohol and or drugs...

Activities
At the beginning of the year we plan activities for our organisation. We use the activities as tools for participation, assistance and commitment, the objective being the integration, awareness and motivation to stimulate positive feeling and learn to value life with optimism and courage.

One of the biggest areas which characterises the organisation since its inception is training.

Apemsi is convinced that information is the strategic vehicle to be kept informed and inform. Because of this we have worked very hard to educate those with severe epilepsy and their families, by creating information streams which provide alternative ideas about work, social and family reality, facilitating accessibility and encouraging interest.
